Last Saturday was our annual 5th Ward "Neighborhood Watch" Picnic. Besides all the great food and visiting with a lot of neighbors and city officials, they also had some door prizes. One of the organizers went to business owners in the area and got donations. They had gift certificates to resturants, pizza places, florists, etc. When they announced a gift certificate to a hair salon for a free cut, style and shampoo, I just knew that they were going to draw my name......and sure enough, they did. You should have heard the place erupt with laughter - I guess they knew that none of us girls have ever cut our hair.
Our dad never lets us waste anything so..............................yep, sure enough, I had to go use that gift certificate!!!!! (If you believe that, I'll tell you another one............ha!)
